Delivered online or in-person. Develop over weekly live demonstrations, tasks, seminars and 1:1 feedback.
Lessons about key painting disciplines.
Learn how to create confident drawing and paintings inspired by portraits.
All materials available.
Online artists can purchase all materials as a convenient ‘Artist Kit’ at below-retail cost delivered to your door step. All materials are included within the in-person Bristol classes.
On this course, we are exploring portraits at a more leisurely pace. We will create one portrait over two sessions (three over six weeks).
This time, I am encouraging you to BYOP (Bring Your Own Portrait). Use the time, guidance and materials carved out for you to practice a self-portrait (Perhaps Portrait Artist of The Year awaits you!) or create a portrait of a friend or family member. If you are a complete Beginner, or BYOP does not appeal, I will have differentiated reference images for you to choose from, including the portrait image I will use for my Guides and Demonstrations.
