The Portrait Course, Bristol.

£175.00
sold out

On this course, we are exploring portraits at a more leisurely pace. We will create one portrait over two sessions (three over six weeks).

This time, I am encouraging you to BYOP (Bring Your Own Portrait). Use the time, guidance and materials carved out for you to practice a self-portrait (Perhaps Portrait Artist of The Year awaits you!) or create a portrait of a friend or family member. If you are a complete Beginner, or BYOP does not appeal, I will have differentiated reference images for you to choose from, including the portrait image I will use for my Guides and Demonstrations.

Subjects include:

·         Leonardo Da Vinci inspired sketches,

·         Illustrative Portrait,

·         Contemporary Painting.

Across the six weeks, you will learn how to use a variety of media, including:

·         Sketching & Charcoal pencils,

·         Watercolour Paint,

·         Acrylic Paint.

In-Person Bristol Classes run for two hours and take place on:

Thursday Evening, 18:30PM - 20:30PM GMT

Thursday 9th January 2025 - Thursday 13th February 2025

The Westcott Studio,
